Hi, I’m Catherine, founder of Birchlines Creative.

Long before wedding content creation, I was telling stories online.

Nearly 18 years ago, while living in Portland, OR, I began creating social media content through my own fitness business, eventually developing and selling pre- and postnatal fitness ebooks and digital products. After moving to Madison Wisconsin with my husband and becoming a mom to our four daughters, my work evolved into digital marketing and content creation for schools, nonprofits, and local organizations. Along the way, I discovered that the content people connect with most is the content that makes them feel something.

In October 2025, I was approached by Jamae Ramsden, owner of The Lageret in Stoughton, WI, to create content showcasing the weddings, venue transformations, and behind-the-scenes moments happening at the venue. What started as venue content quickly became a passion for wedding storytelling.

I fell in love with the emotion, artistry, and beauty woven throughout a wedding day. The nervous excitement before a first look. The tears during private vows. The laughter between friends while getting ready. The carefully chosen details that reflect a couple’s story. Those seemingly small moments often become the most meaningful memories.

As my passion for wedding storytelling grew, I launched Birchlines Creative—a natural extension of nearly two decades spent helping people and organizations share meaningful stories.

Today, my goal is simple: to create content that helps you relive your wedding day exactly as it felt—not just how it looked. The big moments matter, but so do the quiet ones. Those are often the memories you'll treasure most.
